As a young person on the lake it makes it very hard to plan things with my friends because the boating hours do not provide a long enough window. As young working individuals it is hard when the lake closes at 5:30. The sun does not set until 9 in the summer. We feel it would not be unreasonable to push boating hours back two hours in order to allow my friends and I, along with many other parties, to enjoy the lake to its fullest extent. We respect the residents of the lake, and we hope that this extension would give everyone time to enjoy it to its fullest, especially since the season is only 3 months out of the year.
