Lake Macquarie Council is proposing a change to the current Bulk Waste Collection
With the current system of 2 times a year of collection , I find that a lot of items are recycled and not just dumped into land fill , there is a significant reduction of over a 1/3 of waste put out is recycled and put to good use .
The new proposals will see more dumping of rubbish in our bushland and a significant rise in land fill , no to mention the environmental impact
Even though the proposal of 2 Tip Vouchers is a great alternative , I find it not practical to the general public …..no trailer, log distance from the recycle centre and a availability of the tips hours
