JUSTIN KENT THINKS 10 YEARS IN PRISON IS ADEQUATE FOR KILLING AND ROBBING DAVID SEARLES... NOW HE WISHES TO TARNISH DAVID SEARLES' GOOD NAME IN AN ATTEMPT TO PETITION YOU, GOVERNOR ASA HUTCHINSON, FOR EARLY RELEASE. THIS WAS A HATE CRIME, CAPTIAL MURDER, AND WAS PREMEDITATED! HE SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THE DEATH PENALTY! 

Marion County Sheriff Vickers stated, as revealed in the April 16th article, pg 15, of the Arkansas Democratic Gazette that "all the circumstances kind of combined to form CAPITAL MURDER" ; "We feel like it was premeditated".  The headlines said it all, MOUNTAIN HOME MAN PLEADS INNOCENT IN SLAYING/BURGULARY; Justin Kent, then 21, denied killing David Searles, then 38, in cold blood and burgularizing his home. This HATE CRIME committed against a gay Christian man resulted in life in prison for Justin Kent; he was found guilty even after his lies and denial of his crime. Today, the crime continues. 

Justin Kent, now only 10 years and some months into his sentence, his penance for the heinous hateful murder of David Searles, is now petitioning for the courts to allow him parole or a sentence reduction.  He is alleging that the cold blooded murder he committed on Easter Sunday in 2010 around 2pm was self-defense and retaliation for sexual abuse. Even after taking David Searles' life, and leaving his body to rot in the Arkansas summer heat exposed to animals and the elements, he continues to injure David Searles by trying to tarnish his memory with allegations of sexual abuse. These lies are insinuating of Justin Kent's dishonesty; I know this because I was the last person to speak to David Searles before he died. 

David Searles was my bestfriend and could have been more had I had the maturity and spiritual core that David Searles had. He wanted nothing more than to live at one with nature and his American dream was to homestead a piece of property in the Arkansas mountains where he could start a survival school for boys like himself who had nothing and no one growing up. David was raised in the NJ Pine Barrens and did not have a father figure; he was subject to poverty, the system and the sexual abuse Justin Kent is trying to claim was perpetrated upon him. He understood society and saw how carnivorous it was. He wanted to create a safe place where he could teach younger ones how to survive society through learning survival skills in nature. It was his dream. He almost accomplished it, had he not been shot in the head by Justin Kent for simply saying NO to Justin; David told me how they got into a huge shouting match over whether Justin could use his truck and have some money for a prom dress for his girl. David said that Justin had been doing meth and drinking alot. He detailed how he was unhappy because Justin Kent kept making advances towards him sexually and was acting nervous all the time. He wouldn't meditate or go for the walks he did before. He suspected Justin was using him and wasn't really serious about kicking his alcohol problem; David suspected he was doing more amd different kinds of drugs. He told me he was going to ask Justin Kent to leave his property. David's last words on the topic was, "Justin doesn't seem to think anything is sacred and this is a sacred place."

I never spoke to David Searles again. I didn't get to see my bestfriend ever again. We could not have an open casket viewing because he was taken out of that cabin in pieces. Rotting, stinking pieces... my beautiful friend, David Searles, was treated like he was nothing when he gave his everything to anyone who needed him. Well, I needed him. His family and all of his friends needed him. THE WORLD NEEDED HIM! 

INSTEAD, WE HAVE A COLD BLOODED SOCIOPATHIC MURDERER TRYING TO GET FREE OF HIS ACCOUNTABILITY AND THE LEGAL REPERCUSSIONS  OF A CRIME THAT ENDED DAVID SEARLES LIFE; YET JUSTIN KENT ISNT SATISFIED THAT HIS WAS SPARED. HE WANTS TO PETITION THE GOOD STATE OF ARKANSAS TO LET THIS HATE CRIME BE LOOKED AT SELF-DEFENSE FROM THE ONE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY TRIED TO HELP HIM. I LOOKED JUATIN KENT IN THE EYE WHEN I MET HIM AND HE COULDNT LOOK ME IN THE EYE THEN. I KNOW HE CANT NOW. KEEP HIM BEHIND BARS! THIS WAS A HATE CRIME. 

TO FREE JUSTIN KENT WOULD NOT BENEFIT SOCIETY OR JUSTIN KENT. HE LIED ABKUT COMMITTING THE CRIME- HE WAS FOUND GUILTY. NOW HE IS LYING ABOUT DAVIDS CHARACTER TO EXCUSE IT. JUSTIN KENT HAS NOT LEARNED ANYTHING FROM HIS DECADE BEHIND BARS. HE CANT EVEN OWN THE ACTIONS THAT GOT HIM THERE WITHOUT BLAMJNG THE VICTIM. I DO NOT FEEL HE IS WORTHY OF YOUR MERCY. I DO NOT FEEL HE SHOULD BE LET OUT BECAUSE HE SHOWS NO REMORSE. HE WILL KILL AGAIN IF ANGERED. THIS PETITION IS TO IPHOKD THE ORIGINAL SENTENCE AND THE LENIENCY OF BEING ALLOWED TO LIVE THE REST OF HIS LIFE OUT BEHIND BARS.
