Petition update

Over 200,000 Instagramers say no to algorithms

Sarah Heard

Mar 22, 2016 — Less than a week after starting this petition, we now have over 200,000 people rallying to tell Instagram that they want to keep Instagram chronological!

That's an average of over 33,000 new people signing the petition every single day.

Tech sites, news sites and blogs (Tech Times, Digital Trends, Peta Pixel, Huffington Post, Ad News etc) are talking about the change and about the user backlash to the announcement, but Instagram are yet to comment or respond to our feedback.

Thank you again to everyone for your support so far. Please continue to share the link to this petition and keep using #keepinstagramchronological so that we can keep this ball rolling and make sure that Instagram at least acknowledge our feedback. According to Instagram, this hashtag has been used over 30,300 times which is great, but that ain't one for every signature here - let's kick this thing!

Cheers
Sarah.
