Unbeknownst to most students, conversation is being had within the staff at Acton Boxborough Regional High School to eliminate free periods and create study halls instead. Additionally, teachers are now required to request for a substitute instead of giving their students a free. With the constant academic pressure that is applied on students everyday, free periods have always been a breath of fresh air for students.
