Robert Stanek started this petition

Recently Governor Dewine signed legislation legalizing fireworks on and around most major national holidays. As many of us are aware, the fireworks every year cause undue stress to many pets and veterans with PTSD. As such we do not believe fireworks have a place in heavily residential areas as they affect a significant portion of the population in addition to being physically dangerous to anyone nearby. There are already places with permits to put on firework shows and that's where they should remain limited to.

Our primary goal is to get local councils and mayors around the Greater Cleveland Area to keep fireworks banned in their localities after the law goes into effect on July 1, 2022.

Please sign and pass on this petition to friends, family, and neighbors so we can get this issue handled by our officials or at least on the ballot in Spring of 2022. Thank you for your consideration and time.
