Keep families together: bring Laguna PNP troops back to their hometowns.

The Laguna provincial director has ordered a reshuffling of all police personnel from all cities and towns in Laguna to another, all more than an hour away from home. This drastic decision is going to affect hundreds of families who have never before experienced a displacement with such a finality.
Even in the light of the PNP's marred reputation, the decision to strip families apart is extreme. Our fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers will have to travel to and fro if they want to be with their families, spending time and money they don't have. I have seen the emotional distress it has caused everyone involved.
That is why we need to stand for the sanctity and the idea of the filipino family because we are the support system of our policemen and women, we are the home they come to at the end of a long day, and the inspiration for all their hard work. When they are secure, the whole nation is also secure.
Please sign this petition if you agree that families should not be separated, that we are against any form of collective punishment. Please share if you agree that there is a better solution to alleged illegal activities within the PNP.
