Imagine for a minute the devasation of burying a child who has been murdred . Imagine trying to recover from such tragedy and doing all you know how to  do to prevent another mother or father from ever having to experience that piercing and pulsating pain  you feel every day. Imagine trying to push through the pain   only to be reminded by  countless videos on social media trending  as strangers all over the world sing  dance and poke fun of your  murdered child  and other murdered  victims of  gun violence.  Imagine this is the   hottest song trending on social media    and  people ranging from different economic status, backgrounds, races and ages are  helping  a rapper use his talents and platforms   make fun and make money off of the glory of gun violence and the names and likness of murdered victims including many who are children . Imagine mothers who say enough is enough ... 
   My name is Tonya Love  I'm  not sure you  if are familiar  with me and my son Prosper  Johnson's story . My son was involved  in a shooting in 2014 that ended his life at the  age of 17 just five dsys before his 18th birthday.  Since his death I have  started a non profit organization in his honor called " No Weapon shall Prosper" self - published a book, songs and music videos as well as  became a certified Grief coach and motivational speaker.  The local media channels  have covered certain aspects of my life  and continued advocacy work to help victims of Domestic and gun violence as well as an array of other adversities that I have over come  such as suicide attempts, foster homes, teenaged pregnacies, alcohalism  just to name a few.  I  am writing to gain attention to a much needed problem that continues to flame the fire of gun violence igniting it to a combustion of pure hatred and hell for those who have lost their children to gun violence. 
"Drill "music videos are  put up between gangs  or neighborhoods  as a constant reminder to taunt, plot,  and threaten  rival neighborhoods and sadly the devaststion of their cruelness is felt  mostly by the famlies of the murdered victims who have literally been caught in the middle of a music and murder war.
  Freedom of speech has now become freedom  to terrorize and   threaten .  Music  has become a major weapon in the  hands of kids who use the social media platforms to amplify and spread their messages of  destruction and detriment.   Music  has catapulted     statistics  of gunviolence  to another dimesnsion as the trending of these songs call for more music and murders to keep the  popularity going .

After being warned of the songs from different people who  live in different states around America  I found myself trying to avoid social media.  I didnt want to be  distracted with what I knew would be blantant ignorance  from my mission to ensure that my son's death would not be in vein if I could save  lives  because like my son Prosper to many kids who have been raised in an environment to do the right think die from wrong choices . Too many Kids Die before they can Prosper.   But then someone close to me happened to be on their Tik Tok page scrolling when I approached him and like lightening striking it hit me to my cure.   The video and song I was trying hard to avoid.  It compelled me to tears  anger and then  action.
What I thought would be a distraction or detour from my mission  to save lives became my driving force to start a petition on change.org that calls for these drill music videos to be removed from all social media platforms. Stating clearly we are nor going to endorse or sponsor this kind of behavior.  Now imagine signing this petition so you can help me make this vital change before its too late and   you're forced to  imagine yourself in my shoes and someone is rapping  about your murdered child, family member of friend .

I'm imagining a world where we stand up and stand together  . Imagining a more peaceful world wont make it anymore peaceful .  Not until we stop imagining in our heads and take action will
