Accessing the moor from this point opens a whole range of beautiful features to the public, and gives us the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and exercise on this access land.

Access to this part of the moor is getting very difficult, if you have a young family.
It’s often necessary to park somewhere safe and close to the start of walks.
If you live in Sparkwell, Cornwood and surrounding village, then you have to go further afield to find your access points; which is a shame because the immediate area is very beautiful and interesting!

It's a beautiful place to walk and get away from the hustle and bustle. Do not deny permissive access.

My family and I have regularly enjoyed this part of the moors for its stunning scenery and antiquities. This is now denyed to us as there is no alternative parking. I doubt we will ever be able to return which is really sad for my children.

It is a great sadness that this should be removed from the public's access to the moor. I plead with you to reconsider your decision.

The beauty of Dartmoor in its entirety should be open to all who respect it and leave no trace of their visit
