There are many reasons we should remain virtual for the remainder of the semester. The first and most obvious reason is that COVID is still spreading throughout the community. This crisis has caused great strain on the field of education creating a shortage of teachers. Also, as aspiring educators in the teaching credential program, we believe we deserve every opportunity to succeed. The best way to do this is to allow our classes to remain virtual. We are grateful that most of our classes have opted to remain online, but this is class is scheduled to come back in person beginning 2/14. We will have a better chance of success if this course remains virtual. This will help those with time constraints, commuting difficulties, family lives, and difficult work hours to have the best chance at succeeding.
