The BBC have announced that within the next 3 years they will be taking CBBC off the tv and moving to online only. 
That means programmes like NewsRound, Blue Peter and Saturday Mash Up can only be watched online.

For so many families this channel is a life line and may be one of the only channels a family really has on and so why should families continue to pay a TV licence if BBC are removing educational family channels?

Grandparents love to have this programme available, is there the assumption every grandparent understands technology and can just move to online versions?

Kids shouldn’t be just watching TV but this is an educational channel which families lean towards to aid them at home and the programmes teach kids in a fun way and the BBC want to remove that and make it online only? This isn’t fair for so many families
