Keep Canadian Law in the Newfoundland and Labrador's school curriculum

Canadian Law will be a dismissed course effective of September 2018. I believe that this course is necessary and important to students of not only Newfoundland and Labrador, but students all across Canada.
I have a passion for Law in Canada, I myself will be pursuing a career in it, and I don't want to see this course dissipate into thin air, I believe that what I have learned so far in this course and what I will learn in months to come can be of great importance not only to me, but for those who participate in the course as well.
If Canadian Law will no longer be a course in the Newfoundland and Labrador school curriculum, I believe this can have a significant impact on student's minds and their societal ideologies. Given that this course has helped me perceive many things differently than I have before, especially the judicial system in Canada, which I had next to no knowledge of before I joined this course, I think that those who do not get to experience this course after it's gone, will be missing out on very important and crucial information that will be needed later on in life.
I propose, that Canadian Law will be an available course in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, just as it is currently. I believe that there is no need to fix something that is not broken. Please sign this petition to help my cause.
