We can all agree the puzzle competition is a great addition to our new year. It brings family together, gets us away from our electronic devices, and allows us to use our "puzzle muzzles*" We never want the puzzle competition to go away. There is one thing, however, we all want and would benefit from.

More time. 

We all lead busy lives. Some have kids. Some are in grad school. Some have to work a lot on the weekends. And some of us have to balance the puzzle competition with reruns of Downton Abbey and the Crown. The simple truth is, February 7th is too soon. Help us change that.

We, the Keehner/Engelke plebians ask our overlords to have mercy and grant us more time. We propose the puzzle competition end at the end of February. Which, serendipitiously is a leap day.

Thank you for your consideration. We all look forward to making the puzzle competition prosperous and exciting for generations to come.

*puzzle muzzle is the invisible muzzle that you wear when puzzling. Oftentimes puzzlers get so lost and consumed by their puzzles they forget to speak. This is not always a bad thing.
