Governor Ivy has extended the mask mandate again and continues to keep businesses lockdown and restricted. I know Covid is real and those at risk need protecting but the numbers don’t add up to continued restrictions. It is time to open Alabama again. 
I also have concerns about one person with power  to unilaterally shut the state down. Laws are created by Congress and signed by the Governor. Too much power is given to one person when they can create laws to destroy the economy because of a virus. The continuing drop in the number of daily deaths have declined below the numbers expected but we remain closed and continue to struggle. If the Governor does not open up then my request for congress to step up and shut down the Governor’s executive power concerning the virus. 
we are a free people and should have the free choice to choose how we protect ourselves. The Governor can’t force people out of their homes during a hurricane but she can shut down the entire state by creating laws, I use that term loosely, by executive order. My desire is for Alabama to open back up. You can’t make the cure more harmful than the virus.
