Why this petition matters

We desperately need our Governor to offer an reward for missing, Lakira "Pigg" Goldsmith, that has been missing since, November 27, 2018, from Montgomery Alabama. Lakira has a son that misses his mom, and a family that relive the day she went missing everyday!

Her mother, Marchelle Gold, family and friends, have emailed and called begging for assistance from her, and our elected officials, and our law enforcement, and no one has even responded back.

A reward was offered by Governor Kay Ivey recently for missing Ms. Blanchard case and we are begging her to do the same for Lakira Goldsmith! This could help us tremendously!

We also requested search teams, divers, search dogs, and any available accessible resources to search several locations! Here is the information pertaining to her disappearance below.

On the night of November 27th, 2018, Lakira Dajour Goldsmith went out with her boyfriend. He picked her up at her apartment, where she lived with her son and grandmother, on Narrow Lane Road in Montgomery, Alabama.

He later dropped her off at the apartment. Her grandmother saw Lakira get out of the car. Lakira never made it home.

At 2 am on November 28th a maintenance man at the apartment complex says that Lakira asked him if she could use his phone. He left her to talk on the phone and when he returned the phone was left on the stairs and Lakira was gone. That was the last time anyone saw Lakira.

Lakira was 20 at the time of her disappearance. She is 5'4-5'5 and 145-155 lbs. She was wearing a black velvet knee-length dress, a silver rhinestone choker necklace, silver rhinestone earrings, and a silver lip ring.

She had blonde hair with black roots at the time. Lakira has severe asthma. She's been hospitilized many times for asthma attacks. All hospitals were checked. Lakira was very active on social media but there has been no activity on her social media accounts since she disappeared.

Please call the Montgomery Police Department Detective Stokes with any information about Lakira at 334.625.3846.

"She’s a very friendly person," her mother said. "She could walk in a room and light up the room. She tried to help anybody. She tried to make everyone like her. She’s just a sweet and caring person — always wanted to look out for others, even when she was sick. She has severe asthma and it’d be hard for her to breathe most of the time, but she didn’t let that stop her." - Her mother, Marchelle Gold stated

The family has created a gofundme Facebook page to raise money for billboards, search teams, divers, search dogs, flyers, surrounding counties and cities alerts, and anything that can help.
