Alabama wants a lottery. We want a program that allows us to raise money for our schools, lowers our taxes and keeps the money flowing into Alabama, not out. BUT We don’t need families destroyed because power bills couldn’t be paid because the money was gambled away. Children going without food because of one more pull of the arm hoping for a jackpot. We don’t need increased spending on programs to help addiction, we don’t need violence created by the stress and anger that comes from loosing the months rent and your self loath turns into hitting and shooting. We don’t need more casions, more gambling, more temptation to corrupt the hopes of those with so little money to give.

We need a controlled lottery that will give back not take away.

What’s in the bill?

●       9 Vegas-style casinos scattered across the state from the Tennessee River to the Mobile Bay!

●       No-bid casino licenses and a virtual monopoly for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and casino bosses handpicked by politicians.

●       A special low tax rate baked into our state constitution for billionaire casino interests

We want better schools, lower taxes and services, but not at the cost of destroying families and increasing violence in our communites.

Just give us a lottery. That’s all.
