Utilities Rental Agreements Malpractice

I am resident of Brampton and want to bring to your notice a Malpractice with Enercare where they are charging $29.63+T ($33.50 including taxes)every month for the water heater rental for approximately 10-12 years(life of the tank) as per agreement from Enercare when you buy new house .
This cost estimates to a total of $4824 for duration of contract with rates going up yearly. The contract is only in favour of the company as the cost to buyout or cancel is too high compared to your own water tank installed which is merely $1000 or so (installed price) , while cost to maintain a tank is negligible compared to the cost being charged by Enercare .
This type of one way contract in favour of Enercare and other utilities companies needs to be changed and seriously looked into.
Please sign this petition to make the government aware of this malpractice where a new home owner get into a agreement while signing other house documents with the builder without even knowing the details of the contract and a company takes advantage of the situation in partnership of the builder. This situation is affecting a lot of home owners
