Stop GO Transit (Metrolinx) and TTC Fare Hike

Our governments have committed to decreasing our carbon emissions to help slow global warming (which is fantastic), and Canadians want to do our part. However, public transit has become increasingly expensive resulting in more Ontarians considering driving.
Also, with the dramatic cost of living increase in the GTA, Ontarians are already strapped. Increasing transit again, takes away from the quality of life of our citizens.
Perhaps, if transit became more affordable, more people would utilize it, therefore increasing revenue for those systems as well as helping to decrease our collective carbon footprint.
Enough is enough. Roughly $400 from Oshawa to Union, plus roughly $150 for a TTC pass. $550/month is not sustainable. Especially if both partners work downtown. Many GTA residents live outside Toronto due to not being able to afford the city's house or rent prices. But with the Transit fares going up AGAIN, every day life is getting more and more financially challenging.
