Ban amalgam fillings as it is the cause of many chronic health concerns.

To Premier Kathleen Wynne and the RCDSO:

Be it resolved that the province of Ontario with the RDCSO, take action to ban amalgam fillings, in order to begin to heal a nation plagued with chronic illnesses and unsustainable health care spending

The supporting evidence,  1. scientifically, 2. economically, 3. morally and 4. politically, shouts that it is time to pass a law, to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done.  As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.

     1. SCEINTIFICALLY:  The preponderant amount of scientific research that has been conducted by countless dentists and the IAOMT is now irrefutable and can no longer be ignored.  The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario need to jump on board and not be left behind with this research.

"The International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT), along with several other groups, recently filed suit against the FDA, seeking an order to require a response to 2009 petitions that called for a formal ban on dental amalgam ..."

Griffin Cole, DDS, president of the IAOMT, stated in a press release: "We have banned mercury in disinfectants, thermometers, and many other consumer products… There is no magic formula that makes mercury safe when it's put into our mouths. It's inexcusable to use mercury in dental fillings when there are much safer alternatives."

Highly respected dentist Dr Tom Macguire also states,  "Anyone who is concerned or has questioned whether or not amalgam fillings are a health hazard needs to know the following:

There is no safe or harmless level of mercury. Just one atom of mercury is harmful to the body.
Amalgam fillings continuously release poisonous mercury vapor.
Any form of stimulation that heats an amalgam filling will stimulate the release of mercury vapor.
Amalgam fillings are the single greatest source of mercury exposure.
The first exposure to mercury from amalgam fillings can occur at the moment of conception.
Mercury passes through the placenta to the fetus and through breast milk to the nursing baby.
Chronic mercury poisoning can directly and indirectly contribute to and increase the risk and severity of every known disease and health issue.

Well known Dentist and humanitarian Dr, Mercola, states that,  "Mercury vapors from amalgam fillings readily pass through cell membranes, across your blood-brain barrier, and into your central nervous system. Once in your brain, mercury can cause psychological, neurological, and immunological problems. Children and fetuses, whose brains are still developing, are clearly most at risk, but anyone can be impacted, and the health risks increase the longer you have your fillings
Even conventional news outlets, like NBC affiliate WCNC News in Charlotte, are featuring stories on the dangers of amalgam fillings, with headlines reading “Metal fillings in your teeth could make you sick”  Dr Mercola

Heart disease, autism, Alzheimer's, digestive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and the list goes on and on.

Therefore, scientifically speaking, it is time that Ontario along with the RCDSO pass a law to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done. As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.

     2. ECONOMICALLY:  Economically speaking, chronic illnesses cost our government billions of dollars a year and it is economically irresponsible to ignore the this solution any longer.  The solution to curtail this chronic health care spending  is to honestly and responsibly address  the root cause of these costly chronic illnesses.  Again the root cause  is heavy-metal poisoning caused by amalgam fillings, that is supported by volumes of solid scientific research.  So to reiterate, with out huge debt load, it would economically responsible that Ontario along with the RCDSO pass a law to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done. As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.

      3. MORALLY:  it is morally unethical to withhold knowledge and treatment for the countless chronic illnesses that are caused from heavy metal poisoning found in amalgam fillings.  When we learned the real dangers of secondhand smoke we were morally obligated to ban smoking in public places and to bring awareness of these dangers to the public.  Similarly, we have NOW learned of the very real dangers of heavy-metal poisoning that is directly caused from amalgam fillings, so we are morally obligated to ban amalgam fillings and also make mandatory heavy metal testing with all blood work.

I say "WE," because everyone in Canada, rich or poor, black or white, mother or father, child or adult,  knows someone who is suffering needlessly from a chronic illness or condition caused by heavy-metal poisoning found in amalgam fillings.  So morally we all must feel compelled to act,  for our loved ones that suffer now, and also for the our children and pregnant mothers. Therefore, morally speaking, it is time that Ontario along with the RCDSO pass a law to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done. As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.

      4. POLITICALLY:   Our government needs to take action and needs to follow suit  with Europe and other countries around the world, that have recognize the dangers and health problems caused from amalgam feelings. I believe Ontario in Canada will not be the last to pass this law. It is politically responsible for Ontario to ban amalgam feelings now. Politically speaking, Ontario should set the benchmark for the rest of Canada in this regard, and pass a law to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done. As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.

To recap, the scientific research, the economic waste, our moral obligation and our political responsibility, shouts that it is time for Ontario to take action.  It is time for Ontario, along with the RCDSO, to be the forerunners for all Canadian provinces on this matter,  and pass a law to ban amalgam filling's, and have mandatory heavy-metal testing with all blood work done. As well, have new safe removal of amalgam practices and chelation methods implemented.
