Cell phone addiction is becoming a big problem. Many teenagers under 17 are addicted to their phones. We stop paying attention to the real world. Our grades are to slip. We are addicted to our smartphones. We go EVERYWHERE with them. I understand sometimes we need to communicate with a family member, but it’s not 24/7. We are always on our phones when we are in class, or family dinner, etc. This needs to stop.

We could improve this problem by making a restriction for teens/kids under seventeen. We could make this a law. It sounds silly but I think we could make this work. Kids/ teens will start actually getting an education then just trying to get good grades and get answers from online.

I started this petition because...
I am starting this petition because I started to realize how addicted we are. We isolate ourselves from everyone & everything. We don’t read books anymore, we don’t watch television, we barely play outside, & we don’t communicate face to face. We hide behind a screen and communicate like that. We need to start making changes for the better, not for worse.
