As with our community in Penn Hills PA. the residence of Hinkley depended on the local ground water for all of their needs. Our homes are sandwiched between cell towers, a dump site and a construction company.  Our water is supplied  from the end of the water main which is about 100 yards down hill from our homes.    According to reports from PWSA, RJL group, and the visible pollutants in our water supply we are alarmed, our  water is grossly contaminated.  The contaminates include all kinds of coliform and bacteria as stated "everything horrible is in your water".

Sickness has taken its toll on our families, plants and animals.

"Many people and domestic animals in the town of Hinkley, California were getting sick and some had died" according to the case Hinkley vs Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG & E).   "Water contamination should be the least of your concerns as a United States Marine."  For years Marines who served at camp LeJeune has blamed their families cancers and other ailments on tap water tainted by cleaning solvents, and many accuse the military of covering it up."  "When this happens you and your family deserve compensation for any resulting injuries."  Our families are in the mist of horrible situations.  The cost and quality of our water has treacherously impacted our life's.  Sickness continues to take its toll on our families.  Because of the water damages to fixtures and plumbing costs continue.

In addition to medical cost we are charged $200.00 plus dollars monthly for water usage.  To compensate purchased bottled water is used daily for drinking, cooking and sponge bathing.  The Community bath house is a hard place to bath our child.

We are seeking compensation for all damages.  Including:

2. enforcement of environmental laws that will protect present and future generations from environmental abuse.

3. Set acceptable standards that will enable private citizens of water companies to test their water conditions when alarmed.

Both cases Hinkley vs (PG&E) and "Carcinogen in Marines' water unreported"(benzene poisoning lawsuit) are classic cases that describe our water experience within Penn Hills.

If utility companies and private citizens would work together the environment and health damages would be limited and both would prevail.

We were told we need big muscles before resolution is granted.  Please sign.  We depend on the local ground water for all of our needs.

Your signature is the muscle we need.
