I recently watched a news report about her story, and was inspired to research it as part of a human rights enquiry, a research topic from my highschool. I was empowered to see katelyns protest and only wish i could be as outspoken as her. Her efforts are valliant in a world where voices are so often smothered especially for students. As a feminist i am proud to be a part of this petition for this important topic.

Students should have a choice. They shouldn't be misinformed on topics dealing with personal opinions. They shouldn't feel like they are being beaten down by teachers and professors.

Because you demonstrated quite clearly that you don't lack strong character - and it's important that you don't let the naysayers convince you otherwise.

I came across Katelyn's story in Seventeen magazine and was amazed by her courageous actions. I can not wait to meet her at Wellesley this coming fall when we're both freshmen!
