NO apartments on Yucca Loma/ Apple Valley Rd.

The Town of Apple Valley has recently approved re-zoning for 101 acres on Yucca Loma and Apple Valley Rd. This includes zoning for Multi-family housing (Apartments), allowing up to 20 units per acre.  Not only is this going to bring down our property prices but will also increase traffic, crime rates, and increase the number of children per classroom. Shopping in the town plaza is already hectic enough. What we need is more shopping centers and restaurants in that space.

As of April 23rd- there has been no actual proposal to start building apartments- but when that time comes, it would be nice to show this petition to the Town Council, since not everyone can attend their meetings.
