We have the site plans for A redevelopment implementation replacing the upscale condos, five for sale homes and townhomes  with a place that brings a more sense of community in the Historic Chosewood Park Neighborhood, The (Englewood South Legacy Apartments) 150 Units of Walkable Courtyard Garden Apartments with 120 units deemed affordable the remaining 30 units will be Market Rate.

The Complex Features modern style white story white bricked courtyard apartments resembling the former Englewood Manor complex (Ariel photos pictured above). The complex will feature amenities such as parks/playgrounds,a basketball court/recreation along with historic artwork murals portraying the former complex and notable figures from the neighborhood as well as 120 parking spaces with an abundance of green space and walkable pathways through the courtyards.

Replacing the second set of for sale townhomes will be 150 units of active senior housing garden apartments adjacent to the family garden apartments units with 50 of those units deemed affordable for residents making 30-60 percent the AMI.

We as AAH are speaking out for many former displaced residents of the Englewood community would love for the Benoit Team and the head of development to take a look and consider this implementation in hopes for many to return to a community that many once called home in high hopes of reviving the historic chosewood community but also to set a high standard with a new out of the box model of how affordable housing should be developed.
