We the students of Unitedworld School of Law, Karnavati University, Semester 2, 4 & 6 petitioning to our University to:

1. Keep our Sundays close. Due to the Corona Virus our syllabus will be lagging for 15 days and those 15 days are being recovered by the University by keeping our Sundays on, earlier we used to study 25 hours a week (Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm) now we will study 49 hours a week (Mon-Sun, 9am-5pm) this will make students restless and it will be very stressful for the students to not have even one day off so we want the University to keep our Sundays off as we require a day of rest.

2. To prepone our end sem examinations in June, 2020. As per our previous Academic calendar we were supposed to give our examinations in June and now the University has changed the dates to 15th July, 2020 which is after 45 days of completion of our semester (30th May, 2020). It will keep the students under the stress of giving examinations after 45 days of completing the semester for which the University’s reasoning is that the University is going for reconstruction. We didn’t get a memo for the same and this has come to us in a very short notice where students have already applied for their internships and academic trips. So we petition to prepone our examinations in June, 2020 as well as keeping our Sundays off every week.
