This is so inhumane. Separating this person from her loved ones is a vile act that should not be tolerated.

I've got moderate ME/CFS, this girl does does't deserves to be locked away against her will without seeing her family. Her disease is physical, and doesn't require that type of action, which is criminal in this case. What she requires is state of the art biological treatment and the love of all her family members and friends! My hearth is with you, Karina

We fellow ME- sufferers, have to stand up for each other when we are too ill to fight for ourselves. What is happening to Karina is barbaric and inhumane, and it is even more shocking to realise this is happening in a European country in 2014. Denmark should hang its head in shame.

I am a fellow sufferer but also I just cannot believe the inhumane treatment. I wish / hope that the Danish Government intervenes or can a lawyer help ... Please keep publishing on how others can help. Karina is in my thoughts and I feel for Karina and her family. Sally x

This is appalling. Karina is not only not a harm to herself or anyone else, but she is of age and should be able to check herself out of any facility. She is ill with a very REAL DISEASE that does not originate in her head. It's time for the government and doctors who think they know best to get OUT OF THE WAY of patient rights and parental rights. Doctors, how would you feel if this was your daughter? I suspect you would not have permitted her to be locked up like a common criminal, just for having an illness that is not well understood by some.

I suffer from ME/CFS myself and am appallled at ther way this illness is defined by these so called speciallists that it is psycological and not medical. If one of these speciaists were suddenelt struck by ME/CFS,would they have the same attitude especailly after their treatments fails in their cure.
