Hi, my name is Ryan Derstein I am currently 13 years old and i currently go to Medlin Middle school as an 8th grader in trophy club Texas. On August 18th 2021 Northwest ISD made a rule that no one is allowed to be on there phones during school hours. I understand the point of not using them during classes but not letting us listen to music at all?  Some of us do better when listing to music during times when we are working by are self. y'all say " the reason why we do this is because when y'all have a headphone in, in the hall y'all cant hear if there is an emergency?" but i think we can see people running, loud announcements, and we have two Airpods and if we use one we can listen to music and we can the other Airpod could just stay in its case and we can still hear everyone.
