There has been a recent uproar among the citizens of Tallahassee with the Taylor Swift themed event that took place at Potbelly’s. This uproar is not a result of the presence of this event… but the absence of another. Potbelly’s needs to host a Kanye West themed event at their venue. We understand that this event took place to give the Swifties of this city a night they will not forget, but we believe that the Yeezy community needs a night like this as well. Having one event without having the other is a blatant show of discontent for the other side, especially since these two figures are as intertwined as they are. We understand there has been recent controversy surrounding Mr. West (now known as Ye) but this shouldn’t take away the possibility of this event. Swifties all over the world owe this to us as without Kanye, Mr. West, Ye, Yeezy, Yeezus, the Louis Vuitton Don, or whatever else you might want to call him, there would be no Taylor Swift. Please strongly consider this outcry for help and justice in such troubling times and host a Kanye West event at Potbelly’s before the end of the semester. Thank you
