There are dozens of schools with Purple jerseys. There are dozens of schools with Wildcat mascots. There are zero schools that use lavender besides K-State.

The lavender uni is unique to K-State. It has historic ties to the basketball program and is currently used as an alternate color for the basketball team. Make it a prominent feature for K-State Athletics as our "signature" look. 

This petition is to make lavender the official team color of K-State Athletics. Purple, white and gray will still be used as secondary colors, but lavender needs to be the focal point. By doing so, K-State and lavender will be as synonymous as UNC's Carolina blue.
