On August 28th, 2021 a new law went into effect in the State of Missouri, RsMO 547.031 now gives Prosecutors an avenue to give delayed justice to wrongfully convicted persons. This newly enacted law allows prosecutors to file a motion to vacate or set aside the judgment of a wrongful convicted person. Wrongful convictions based on 'constitutional error at the original trial... that undermines the confidence of the judgement'; in Maurice's case, the constitutional error arises from the fact that the jury in his trial was deprived of adequate information to properly assess the credibility of jailhouse informants. 

Please join us in calling for Prosecutor Jean Peters-Baker to utilize this new law to free Maurice Davis who has been wrongfully convicted since 2004 and wrongfully  incarcerated since 2000. Innocence SHOULD matter over all else!
