Rockets red glare? Ehh  but Lasers? Yesss. Lol wow Kankakee, unsurprisingly, disappoints us again and removes our Fireworks Display on the 4th to replace it with laser beams... All I know is I want my child to get to grow and see the neat displays of fireworks exploding and the beautiful glares of fireworks that light the night sky. I wasn't planning on flashlights being waved around as a form of entertainment. Which is why my family and I plan to find ourselves at a display elsewhere in a place such as Beecher, Watseka and others. Join the demonstration to show our town what's up! Sign this petition and don't show up for the lasers and maybe go find yourself a nice fireworks display to celebrate our Nation's Independence Day!
