School bus service for local children

My family has been long time residents of Narangba with our kids attending the local primary and high schools.
We recently moved onto acreage off Raynbird Road and despite the signs advising of a school bus service and pre-existing bus shelters, there is no school bus service. Upon further research, I discovered that there are no buses that service the more "rural" areas of Narangba, although there are multiple services from Morayfield, Burpengary and even Deception Bay to the schools.
Like a lot of families, my husband and I both work and are unable to drive our children to and from school every day. Instead, they have no other option to ride their bikes. For almost 5km, there is no footpath for them to ride on they are forced to share a road which has a 70km/hr speed limit with cars, 4WDs and trucks going to and from the quarry. My eldest son has already had one accident where he had to move off the road onto the narrow gravel shoulder to avoid getting hit by a car and instead hit a large rock and flipped over the front of his handlebars. We were lucky this time that his injuries were nothing more then scrapes and bruises; however, next time he may not be so lucky (and no, the driver did not stop to help him). With the growing expansion of the Narangba Heights estate, there are now even more vehicles on the road and soon, there will be even more families who will end up in the same predicament as we are.
There are other children who live in the more "rural" parts of Narangba who are forced into the same predicament as mine. I have contacted Kangaroo Bus Lines, the local State members and relevant government departments who have all passed the buck. Now, my only option seems to be a petition that demonstrates community support.
These "rural" areas could be easily added to existing services or to pick up a few extra students and make the service more viable, perhaps even a new route through Panoramic Drive, Duncombe Road, Pioneer Drive, Rifle Range Road, Highlands Drive then down Raynbird Road to the bus shelter at the Roberts Road intersection (there is enough room here for the bus to turn around and head back up Raynbird Road and on to the primary and high schools).
I am asking for people to sign this petition in support of a school bus service for the more "rural" parts of Narangba for the 2018 school year.
