Tasha Hanes started this petition to Senator Kamala D. Harris

Louisiana Governor issued an order BANNING Nike products from the city recreation facilities because of a SPORTS campaign. This SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE, we MUST stand up for our rights as citizens of the US. We cannot be conditioned into believing this is OK, it is NOT okay.

We live in a country that prides itself on OUR FREEDOM to express ourselves whether it be expressing via words, art, or CLOTHING.

We cannot sit back and let our governors ban us from wearing clothing, or expressing ourselves in any form unless it is illegal, then fauxsho, do your job, but, clothing that we as citizens of this great country paid for, we have the right to wear it, and to express ourselves as long as we are not harming, or physically hurting others.

The clothing we purchase with our hard earned money, and wear should not be decided by someone who is clearly in need of soul-searching and de-coding of 'personal-experiencing-conditioning' so that he can see through eyes of love, compassion, understanding, and NO JUDGEMENT.

We need to speak up, speak to our local representatives, and not allow this 'trump-era' non-sense continue or get worse. Together we can make a change for the greater good for all humans on this planet, and it starts with communicating from love and standing up for what is RIGHT.
