People are wondering why cooks don’t want to come back to work if your performing and have the experience and schooling on what you are doing you should get paid for it a normal cook bring home 30k a year or maybe less u really think that’s enough for a family of 7? That’s crazy but I’m not here to beg you for anything just imagine if u had to live paycheck to paycheck just to survive, but u working to pay bills I think it should be changed if they can pay a employee to sit down to work and makes double what a cook makes, and we have to run around work at a fast pace and still manage to have customers food ready, they don’t understand the irony and pain we have to go thru I barely seen my kids. Because I work so many hours just to survive but I’m writing this for the non speakers who go everyday wanting to say something but cannot because their afraid they are going to lose their job, but I want this to be heard and notice just to show my fellow cooks how much I care about what we’re doing some people it’s just a job but the ones that really love it it’s their passion and I wouldn’t want no one losing their passion because they don’t feel appreciated and cannot get compensated for so I hope this can get heard because change is now!
