Due to the escalating COVID cases in the country, the Karnataka Health Department has tweeted that academic and cultural events in educational institutions to be postponed for around two months.
The new variety Omicron is also causing turmoil, with students travelling from all over the country to Bengaluru to take their exams offline making it health-risky for the students themselves as the health measures included a point where we were advised to avoid crowded places and college is one of them. Some students like us coming from other states are staying in pg , some in rent away from home so if we get the virus , it would be a very difficult situation since our family members aren’t nearby to take care of us. 

Some students are likely to get sick with the bad unstable weather which may affect the other students’ health and affect our families as well. It is also very suffocating to sit with mask on for almost 3-4 hours continuously in the exam hall to appear the exam in a very risky situation. If we would have been given online exams , it would be more safe for students and teachers as well and it would be a good start for better precautions to avoid the omicron virus. We request you to take an action as soon as possible and conduct Online Examination for us.
