Gender neutral bathrooms in schools in the UK

Hi. I'm Sam. I am non-binary and I feel that in secondary schools across the UK gender neutral bathrooms should be compulsory to make members of the trans and non-binary community more comfortable with their personality and the way they feel about themselves. The problem me and some of my friends have when walking into our assigned genders bathroom is unhappiness and uncomfortableness because we are expected to be content with our gender and to be comfortable with the fact that we aren't treated with a lot of respect when we are conflicted about how we feel about our gender. This isn't just the case for us; many other children in the UK feel the same, but only a few schools have gender neutral bathrooms and show the respect that all students should get regardless of gender. If all schools had gender neutral bathrooms then more children would feel comfortable with the way they feel and would feel more respected on the same level as cisgender students. My current goal is big but I'm hoping to get enough people behind it to at least get my county to make it compulsory. Thanks, please leave a signature, bye
