Many Canadians lost jobs and took on debt to weather the Covid 19 pandemic. Energy is a necessity in Canada and the cost has increased exponentially since Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine. Any Canadian that signs this petition is respectfully requesting that all governments work to temporally suspend taxes on energy in an effort to provide not only relief at the pump but, also in an effort to keep the cost of goods down. We understand that a total suspension is lofty however, we ask that you take this request into consideration.
