We Albertan’s - and ALL CANADIANS take this pandemic seriously and have seen the havoc it has already had on the county’s vulnerable people in our long term care facilities. I realize that the economy needs to begin - but opening the economy up now is dangerous and unsafe for our elderly and children. Please stop this - and mandate that the provinces work together to ensure the SAFE re-opening of the country WITH the voice of ALL Canadians. This is our country and OUR health as well.

Essential workers across the world have seen the devastation that this virus has had on the world; but with history to reflect on (such as the Spanish Flu) - we as a nation NEED to proceed with caution. 

I recommend that a safe re-opening proceed ONLY after a steady and drastic decrease in numbers happen in a 14 day span - across ALL of Canada. 

I also recommend that Canadians across the country have a right to cast an online vote through a recognizable platform to have their voices heard to this regard. Our lives, the lives of those that can’t speak for themselves, and all the essential workers on the front lines - depend on ALL of us to do the right thing and to take the necessary steps to ensure that this happens for the sake of our children - and THEIR future as well. 

We as a nation need to come together, work together, and make an example to the world how we are able to proceed successfully in the wake of this global crisis.
