What is the anti-thesis of Climate Leadership, Environmental Responsibility, and Respect for Indigenous Peoples?  BC's Trans-Mountain Kinder Morgan Pipeline.  

Would you believe that in 2018, a pipeline is being heralded as a priority in Canada's National interest? The proposed foreign-owned Kinder Morgan pipeline would carry the world's dirtiest oil across over the Rocky Mountains. The chemical bitumen soup will then be loaded onto tankers near Vancouver and transported to foreign markets.  

British Columbia  is to assume all of the environmental destruction of the pipeline and risk of spills while foreign investors receive all of the financial rewards. That is, if there are rewards. Since Canada hasn't done a proper environmental assessment. It is BC's due diligence to review the environmental implications of this project before accepting them. Meanwhile PM Trudeau is trying to shove this down BC's throat. What if this was your backyard? 

As Canada speaks of Leadership on Climate Change, Environmental Protection, Environmental Assessment, Respect for Indigenous Peoples, Fisheries Protection, and Canada's National Interest, this project represents everything that is the opposite of what PM Trudeau and Minister McKenna are preaching to Canadians and others around the world.

As children we are taught to stand up for what's right. However, as we grow up, this freedom of expression is somehow discouraged although the truth is ever more obvious. I invite you to sign this petition on Change.org.
