International travelers (Canadian citizens) have been getting arbitrarily detained by Federal Authorities at the borders/airports in recent days even after testing negative for COVID. Our voices need to be heard of how unacceptable this and many infringements on our Fundamental Rights have become!

These Draconian Laws are unnerving for many of my fellow Canadians. It is chilling the expeditious nature of simple civil liberties being dismantled. To say it is alarming is an understatement. The public understanding the thought process that is involved with these decisions, although likely to open up further questions, would at least hopefully reveal the decisions were not as arbitrary as they seem. Prefacing these agendas with "This was a difficult decision but..." really is not effective anymore. 

We need more accountability and disclosure to the public! 

We need to work a solution that does not detain or restrict Canadians from getting to their homes. 

This is all a violation of our Constitution Acts.

9. Everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned.

10. Everyone has the right on arrest or detention

(a) to be informed promptly of the reasons therefor;

(b) to retain and instruct counsel without delay and to be informed of that right; and

(c) to have the validity of the detention determined by way of habeas corpus and to be released if the detention is not lawful.
