There is war going on in Afghanistan! Yesterday Taliban Attacked Afghan Minister of Defense house and killed the head of government media center in Darulaman that's where the Parliament is located. No body is safe. We need support we need humanity. We are calling upon the government of Canada to support specifically at least the following 2 groups who are easily targeted by Taliban;

Families and extended families of Afghan Canadians ( PR or Citizen) Who still reside in Afghanistan: These people will targeted by Taliban because of their affiliation to Canadians and receiving family support from their Canadian family members. Each months hundreds of dollars is being sent back home in Afghanistan by Afghans to support their families and extended families. The definition of family in Afghan culture is very broad. Some details have been omitted and can not be shared publicly for safety o our families back home.

Civil Society Activists and human rights defenders. Canada has funded projects to change peoples live in Afghanistan what if they now have accepted the change and at the result of those changes they have started advocating themselves but can not establish any ties to Canadian missions while they have done so much more than others. These activists and advocates are highly targeted.

The benefits of Taking action about this matter saves Canadians a lot in the long run, Afghan Canadians who reside in Canada will experience better mental health, less stress and worry and spend the money here in Canada instead they send back home to support their families and extended families.

Canada have the means to save these lives in Afghanistan and watching people die in the hands of criminals is not what do.

We urge the government to make immediate plans to evacuate these 2 groups from Afghanistan and offer them safe homes here in Canada.
