Regulations for new crematoriums

There is currently no emission regulations on crematoriums built in Alberta. They have not had any emissions regulations since the EPA ruled that they should not be considered "solid waste". Often these crematoriums are put in despite public backlash and against residents wishes. They are allowed to be built in residential areas, often heavily populated with children. They are proven to emit Mercury and Cadmium, among a lot of other things. Both Mercury and Cadmium are on the World Health Organization's "Most hazardous to human health" list. I propose stringent emission regulations, inspections by an environmentally responsible government body or third party, and no new crematoriums to be built in or within 2km of residential areas
