With the announcement that GoFundMe may be donating the $9 million from the ‘Freedom Convoy’ to charity. There is really no other cause that deserves this money more than Canada’s largest human rights violation today. Approximately 1 in 10 (58) First Nation communities are under a long-term dining water advisories.

The federal and provincial government have down that this is not a priority for them bc given the fact that in 2022, water is still not a human right in Canada!

The organization WaterFirst is an Indigenous-partnered organization that aims to equip the next generation to become water treatment operators, allowing First Nation communities to be the primary participants in their sustainability efforts. Link will be below but honestly any organization that supports the eradicating the water crisis in Canada would be a fine option!
