همينطوري كه احتمالا ميدونيد در حال حاضر تست بيومتريك توسط يك شركت خصوصي ثالث تو كشورهاي همسايه ايران انجام ميشه و به سفارت كانادا ارسال ميشه، تلاش كنيم شايد اين مركز خصوصي در ايران هم باز بشه یا اینکه کلا این فرآیند برای ایرانی ها آنلاین بشه تا اين سختي سفر به كشور همسايه رو نداشته باشيم. 

English:

A large number of us Iranian-Canadians, especially those born in Iran, depend a lot on the moral support of our families who still live in Iran. We need our family, especially our parents, to be by our sides in our moments of joy and hardship.

At the moment and due to lack of a visa office in Iran, the process for our parents to obtain a Canadian visa is an excruciating ordeal pitted with hazards and unnecessary stress, both for us and them. Because they need to suffer a mandatory trip to a third country that hosts a Biometric test center and a visa office.

First, a trip has to be made to pass a biometric test for fingerprints. Not only this trip costs a fortune, due to a recent hyper depreciation of the currency, but it also poses a grave risk of health, especially in the midst of the pandemic.

A second trip, however not mandatory, then must be made to recuperate the visa. For those who chose a representative to spare them from this trip this costs another lump sum of money paid to the representatives. Nevertheless, the first trip (the biometric test) remains inevitable for every visa applicant.

Such an inefficient visa process (particularly the biometric test) endangers the future of many Iranian talents who successfully find a placement in Canadian universities. And more importantly, it endangers the much anticipated and longed for family reunions for us Iranian-Canadians who are looking forward to seeing our parents and loved ones here.  

As equal residents of this country, we demand better treatment from Canadian government. We hereby urge the government to facilitate this process (at least the biometric process) by all means that can be employed.

Un grand nombre d’entre nous Irano-Canadiens, surtout les premiers générations immigrés, dépendons beaucoup de nos familles qui vivent toujours en Iran. Nous avons besoin que notre famille soit de nos côtés tant dans la joie que dans la détresse.

En ce moment, faute d’un bureau des visas en Iran, notre famille et nous-mêmes sommes sujet à d’innombrable souffrance et du stress redondant lorsque les nôtres ont besoin d’obtenir un visa canadien, car ils doivent subir un voyage forcé vers un pays hébergeant un centre de test biométrique et un bureau des visas.

Un premier voyage doit être effectué pour passer un test biométrique d’empreinte digitale. Non seulement ce voyage coute une fortune, du fait d’une devise tant dépréciée récemment, mais aussi il pose un risque sur leur santé en plein pandémie.

Ensuite, un deuxième voyage est nécessaire pour récupérer le visa. Celui-ci peut être remplacé par un service à un cout colossal. Mais le premier voyage (test biométrique) reste inévitable pour tout demandeur de visa.

Ce processus tellement inefficace (surtout le test biométrique), met en péril l’avenir de beaucoup de talents Iraniens qui réussissent à décrocher une place dans les universités canadiennes. Et plus grave que ça, il met en péril, la réunion familiale pour nous les Irano-Canadiens qui attendons hâtivement l’arrivée de nos parents et nos proches.  

En tant que résident égale de ce pays, nous exigeons un meilleur traitement de la part du gouvernement du Canada. Ainsi, nous appelons le gouvernement à prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour faciliter au moins un test biométrique en Iran.
