This is definitely not the first petition that has been made for this issue, but it'd be nice if it was the last. Canada's federal government has ignored their responsibility of taking care of the reserves since they were created. Countless reports have been done for years on the fact most reserves do not have running/clean water. Trudeau promised to have eliminated all long-term drinking water advisories by March 31 2021 but of course did not meet that goal. Using covid as an excuse for something that should of never have been a problem. Canada's federal government is more than capable of fixing this problem that they are responsible for; the politicians themselves could fix it with their salaries alone.
Government of Canada, Justin Trudeau, enough excuses.  
     Canadians lets go big here, help me get this petition to its goal, show our government we mean business and want better for First Nations and I will dedicate the necessary effort of getting Trudeau's attention till he answers this. It's beyond time Canada stops ignoring its history. Beyond time Canada takes some actual responsibility for what our history is.

In light of recent news, the least our government could do as part of a real apology is fix this problem.
