Justice For Indigenous Peoples Of Canada

Justice For Indigenous Peoples Of Canada
Mr Prime Minister,
I have never written a leader of our country before. I was moved to hear how you have followed your convictions and challenged an institution that has seemingly been beyond accountability for centuries. It is my hearts desire to see justice served in this country and reconciliation with our indigenous people. Mr. Prime Minister that begins with an unconditional apology from the Catholic Church and the release of all known records that this institution holds. If the secrets of the past are revealing a cultural genocide then my question Mr. Prime Minister is does your office and your appointment as leader of this country give you the authority to demand (not ask for) these records and to hold this institution accountable for its atrocities against our indigenous people or does this institution dictate the terms of the reconciliation it says it desires? The blood of the innocents cries out for Justice. Can you give it to them?
Sincerely,
Guy Lacey
