This is the right thing to do. Many people including myself on disability have barely enough to survive on as it is and need to have extra income to make it through this crisis.

I am a contract worker, craft fair organizer, and teacher of workshops. COVID-19 lockdowns have cost me my income. I don't get "paid sick leave" as someone self-employed. I also do not qualify for EI.
