Human trafficking is a developing problem in Canada, with Indigenous women and youth under the age of 25 being the majority of victims.  The illegal recruiting, transfer, or hiding of someone for the aim of exploiting them is known as human trafficking. Prostitution and labour are both forms of human trafficking. These men and women are blackmailed and threatened to do these acts or else they would kill them or threaten to kill their family or loved ones. As a strategy of combating human trafficking in Canada, we choose to focus on preventative and protective measures. We wish to fight for new law that assures medical workers (doctors, nurses, etc.), medical administration officials, and emergency first responders undergo mandatory training to spot human trafficking in this petition.
