In Ontario, a coalition of over 900 beauty trades persons has formed (Ontario Beauty Collective). We are comprised of small business owners, Hair Stylists, Barbers, Makeup Artists, Estheticians, Nail Technicians, Tattoo Artists, and Medical hair removal specialists. This collective is a direct response to how the governments of Ontario and Canada have handled and overlooked our industry, resulting in incalculable hardships. It has been formed to hold both the provincial and federal governments accountable for their words, promises, and actions. Because of this, one of our prime directives is for the extension of CERB until December 2021 to ensure the future success of individuals and businesses.
