Good day Nigerians and those in diaspora MRS Abimbola Ogbonna a Nigerian in her mid-30s suffered domestic violence, abuse in the hands of her husband Ikechukwu Ogbonna popularly known as IVD. He had been maltreating his wife for the past 19years that she suffered PTSD, depression and emotional abuse. Flashback to 2019, Abimbola was pregnant with her 5th child and IVD her husband beat her to coma. Even of recent he was seen in a viral video shouting at his mother in law, news have it that he had also beaten her before. The last straw that struck the camel’s back was when on Wednesday, the 12th of October he pushed his wife into a burning fire. When she was rushed to the hospital, the doctors confirmed 100 degree burns and that her survival chance was 50/50. This man felt no remorse and has since been threatening the life of the eye witness and her junior brother. Abimbola did not survive this trauma, she passed away on the 15th of October. Currently he is on the run. All we seek for ABIMBOLA is justice. There are so many ABIMBOLA that cannot bold come out from the bondage they are in. All we want from you all is to sign this petition for the immediate arrest of IVD by the Federal government. IVD is a threat to the society and he killed his wife leaving his 5 children motherless.
